Great location, great tree houses, well-kept, hiking trails directly from the site, thermal baths 10 minutes away. Perfect host couple.

We were allowed to spend a weekend here in October. We were given a very warm welcome. The stilt house is beautiful, spacious and offers everything your heart desires. We had a great time there. There wasn't a fault here. There was a very richly set table (for the small number of guests) with very courteous and friendly service! There were even freshly cooked eggs for each guest. It felt very familiar. We also had dinner here once. The game was super tender and delicious. The pasta with pesto was okay, but the service was nice enough to hand me pesto as well. All in all, very nice service, great location, highly recommended!

Very well-kept tree houses to feel good. The restaurant offers very good cuisine, including a wide variety of vegetarian options.

Excellent restaurant with a large selection, freshly prepared and very tasty food. The prices are great and so is the atmosphere. Food came quickly, was hot and tasted great. Great friendly and professional service. We were very satisfied. Definitely recommendable.

We were in the resturant and ate there, a very good meal, the side salad had a homemade dressing which was so good that we had a spoon brought to us to eat everything. Pan-fried potatoes with clarified butter, French fries as hot as they are in the deep fryer ... and the main meals are just as delicious. We really enjoyed the serving, a small portion on the plate and the rest was placed on the table in beautiful bowls. So the plate wasn't overloaded and the portion was plentiful. The ambience is simple and very clean. We felt very comfortable and regret that we weren't there earlier.

We stayed in the tree house for two nights with our children and we all enjoyed it very much. The view and the equipment are really great. It's very quiet and the food is delicious and freshly cooked. The owner couple looked after our children very lovingly. We will be back definitely!

I cannot confirm any of the bad experiences / reviews made here. Both the staff and the owners were always friendly and attentive. The tree house (oak height, I can't judge the others) is very cozy and clean. And the view is (as has often been mentioned here) simply beautiful. If you want to switch off for a few days and are looking for some peace and quiet, this is definitely the right place. My recommendations for excursions: 1. Hämelschenburg Castle and 2. City of Hameln (old town). The food was perfect and I can't fault anything here either. I can only recommend! :-) Thanks again for everything and best regards to Aerzen.

We have been here for the second time. It is best described as arriving and feeling at home. The host couple is very warm and there is time for a little chat even in times of stress. The staff is also very nice and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and the two we stayed in each have new bathrooms. The food can only be described as phenomenal. It is freshly cooked and just delicious. We could just sit in the ribbon noodles with Gorgonzola sauce and it's our number 1 on the menu. Of course, there is something for every other taste too! We have firmly decided to come again, this time it will hopefully work out with a tree house, which we are already very excited about With a lot of praise and many thanks for the great time ...... the fur seal

We were in the tree house for the third time, as always very good, delicious food, great service and nice hosts, we would love to come back. In addition, a fantastic view in the weather.

I've been several times to Waldquelle restaurant. The food is always very good and the staff are very friendly and efficient. Great tranquil location with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. You often see classic cars and motorcycles passing by on the road below. Worth stopping in if you happen to be in the area!

Excellent hospitality: nice, clean, spacious and comfortable room, very good kitchen (everything "self-made") and a committed landlady and chef who obviously likes to do his job. The dishes can be chosen either normal or small. Everything perfect!

We have already been here several times, but today we turned around on the heel. The food is decent, but the service is harsh and slow. Nice location, but otherwise not up to date.

We stayed for 2 nights in one of the tree houses. They are very nice and modern. From the bathroom to the refrigerator and kitchenette, everything you need is there. The breakfast buffet is not big but completely sufficient and there was something for everyone. The restaurant can only be recommended! Really good and tasty food. I can't say anything bad about the staff either. Always friendly, attentive and helpful. I can only recommend it.

We booked a tree house at the beginning of August 2020 and were surprised - we found a wooden dream villa with super comfort !! Ideal quiet location near the forest - very good interior, very stable built-in furniture, shower toilet, breakfast on the hotel terrace with a fantastic panoramic view of the city of Aerzen and the valleys and mountains was lovingly designed, the range of dishes was plentiful and of the highest quality, pampering the palate, attentive and very friendly care by the owner family Garvens and their staff, we will be back and wish many enthusiastic restaurant - hotel and tree house guests until then!

We really liked the tree house. We were warmly welcomed, and overall the service was very friendly and attentive. The bathroom is very modern, the furnishings appropriately functional, everything was very clean. You are in the middle of nature and have the best view of the distance and the starry sky from the terrace. It is the ideal starting point for hikes, a castle and a golf club are nearby, where you can stop off at the end of a hike.

Clean room, great and new bathroom. Nice service. Excellent location right on the edge of the forest. Perfect for overnight stays for hikers on the E1 / Hansaweg.

We had rented one of the stilt houses. These were very clean and very nicely decorated. We enjoyed dinner to the fullest. Rump steak with potato gratin and a salad. Steak, absolutely top class. Not had such a great piece of meat in a long time. Everything very recommendable.

I can highly recommend this place .. just enjoy a coffee / cake in peace or for lunch .. The service is friendly, competent .. the food is always good and the prices are not excessive .. A weekend in the tree house is the greatest experience. .😍😍

By chance we spotted the "Baumhaushotel" sign on the hotel route and couldn't resist looking at it. The tree houses, which are wooden houses on stilts with an unobstructed view, look totally inviting! The view is simply beautiful. One look at the menu was enough for us to decide we had to go out to eat there one night on our vacation! We reserved a table and were able to take a seat on the great terrace with the great view. The service was very friendly and polite, but not intrusive. The food was really great! It took a bit (but not too long), but that's the case with freshly prepared food. The sauces and the side dishes were served à part so that everyone could help themselves as they wanted. There is a seasonal menu, which I find very appealing. I can recommend this restaurant to everyone! Try it for yourself!
